Day 138: short but sweet chapter - 

“The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.”

I’m going to be gone for the next two weeks on vacation. I can’t wait to finish the last 11 chapters with you guys, unfortunately internet access is rare in farm-land WI. Thanks for all the support, I really do appreciate it.

Day 137: Kind of a strange chapter. Not sure if I totally understand it yet.

Preparing for a Bible Study in Philippians 4:10-23.

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

Pshyeah. 

Day 136:

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.”

Things I am thankful for:

my job, my major, new camera (!), an opportunity to serve, honest friends, a supportive family, and God’s unlimited grace and mercy.

God Loves a Servant’s Heart.

Day 133: How good and pleasant it is when brothers (and sisters) live together in unity.

Day 132

Today was emotionally draining. 

I mentioned it a few days ago but this verse has really been on my heart. 

“be confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” - Phil 1:6. God fulfills His promises. 

Psalms 130

Psalm 129: David has incredible trust in God’s faithfulness. This verse reminded me of Philippians 1:6 - ”be confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” 

God did not save us to wallow in our sin, He saved us to set us free from sin and break the bondage that it carries. Trust His Faithfulness.

1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear.”

Psalm 127: Life without God is meaningless repetition. 

Psalm 126

“The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”

Word. God has done some incredible things for me over the summer.

Also, I just got a dSLR (Canon Rebel t2i). In an attempt to learn photography, and expand my (limited) creative arsenal, I’m going to be incorporating it with the design challenge. Excited!!

Psalms 125: 

Trust is a recurring theme in Psalms. David’s trust in God’s protection is incredible.

“Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.”

I was sketching ideas for today’s design and I really liked how this one turned out. It’s not perfect - but thankfully, nothing I make ever is.
